How to Book an Author or Illustrator Appearance

Thank you for your interest in hosting an author/illustrator appearance. We would be glad to help you find an author/illustrator to fit your audience, your budget, and your schedule.

If you're just getting started:
To request an Author/Illustrator Appearance Kit, send an email to marketing@holidayhouse.com with AUTHOR APPEARANCE KIT in the subject line.

How to Order Books for Your Appearance

1. Please place your order at least four weeks before the author visit.

2. School and library orders should be placed using a Holiday House order form or by purchase order. Send your order via fax (212-421-6134) or mail (Attn: Author Visits, Holiday House, 425 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017) at least four weeks before the appearance.

3. Orders from bookstores should be placed through your regular supplier, or through Holiday House directly via fax (212-688-0395) or mail (Attn: Author Visits, Holiday House, 425 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10017) at least four weeks before the appearance.

4. Books ordered from Holiday House may be returned for full credit, provided

• the number of books does not exceed 15% of the total order
• the books are unsigned
• they are received by our warehouse in saleable condition.

5. You are responsible for all shipping costs.
